I made this site to preserve my father... John's Legacy.
At the same time...I want to dedicate this site to my sons Peyton and Cameron.
'Americana at Dusk' 36" x 24" glazed oil, completed in 1988. The scene depicts a dashboard view of one of the many rural byways making it's way west through the heartland. The corn is tall, the leaves are slowly beginning to lose their green and the shadows are taller than they were this time last week. Upon viewing this piece, it is likely the individual can relate to their own travels along some of the cracked and pitted roads trekking across the countryside. Today the original hangs in his daughter Jocelyn's home.
As so many of John's family and friends knew about him, he wanted everyone who wanted to, to be able to enjoy his many works. To make this possible, look for affordable prints of this work and others becoming available for purchase soon.
